Through her artwork Jan travels from realism to abstracts.  She uses an interesting array of materials in creating her artwork which includes watercolors, oriental papers, decorative strings, gel mediums and eggshells to name a few.  Her colors are bold and expressive.

Jan is an award-winning artist who began her exploration into art in 1998 with watercolor investigation.  Her work has been displayed in local, state, and national juried shows.  Branching out from landscapes into mixed media, abstracts and collage, her work is exploding with creativity seeking new horizons with her imagination.
