A Moment of Freedom

Oil Wash over Gouache

This Cockatoo enjoyed unexpected freedom from his cage.  Perched
in a tree, he communicated back and forth with a small child, who
caught his attention and was amused  with the birds chattering sounds.
It was interesting watching them both, they had similar tonal qualities
 and pitch in their voices as they talked back and forth with each other.
