A memorable drawing session several years ago, explored the work of the artist INGRES.   

The exercise done in graphite was an investigation into his art work, looking deeply into his painting, working with details, visualizing and try to reproduce the painting in a drawing with accuracy.   A great project for art students to work from the worlds Master Artists.
