The reference photo used by Pat when she painted Sweet and Crisp was shot while walking through the very busy Pike's Market in Seattle Washington, she took many photographs that day, and has used some of them to create a few of her other paintings.  This painting in particular is a reminder of a fun adventure with her husband.
